Study Abroad & Experiential Learning Scholarships
Carthage offers several scholarship funds to support students who need financial assistance to participate in study abroad and experiential learning programs.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications for spring 2024 study abroad are closed. Applications for summer 2024, fall 2024, and J-Term 2025 will open early in the spring semester.
Applications are managed and awarded through the Office of Student Financial Services in collaboration with the Director for Education Abroad and faculty leading trips. All applicants must be approved by the faculty tour lead. Where noted, preferences are simply preferences and not requirements.
Applications for the Wiggan-Kenniebrew funds will be reviewed by members of the Equity and Inclusion Committee.
Application requirements include:
- A brief statement explaining how you meet the eligibility requirements.
- A faculty or staff recommendation.
- Details regarding the experience for which you seek funding.
- An essay explaining how this experience will further your academic or career aspirations.
